Well, ladies and gents, it’s June. Time has certainly flied this past year, and here we are now in 2010, as full-fledged adults, primed for college. The experiences we all have garnered will certainty flavor our memories with a sense of nostalgia we will hold true for years to come.

To me, my high career has been more than just an academic education. The past four years have forged my skills, my responsibilities, and my ambitions to levels inconceivable to my past self. I thank my peers and teachers who have so helped me on my journey. But now we must go our separate ways to find, hear, and answer the callings of our lives.

Before we depart from our childhoods, I can only ask all of us one thing to do no matter what happens: achieve. We have been blessed with the gifts of life, cunning, and friendship - what a waste for all of this to wither way. Would you stay content with living a normal unassuming life when the opportunity to surpass a normal existence is within our grasps?

Sure, we may not know where the roads will take us. We may not be able to see what lies ahead, or perhaps not know if we what to travel the road at all. But as long as we aim for the high ground the paths we walk can never let us down, for we are eager for the new friends and fortune on the crossroads ahead.

Sure, the world may not be kind to us. There will be obstacles that would try overwhelm us and discourage our commitment to progress. But we are of a resilient, stubborn breed with fortitude that stands unwavering in even the bleakest of times. And any unseen events would at worst be challenges that we will graciously accept and overcome.

So let us make it a mutual goal, no a heartfelt desire, to make our accomplishments known to everyone. Let us become an inspiration for greatness and a paragon of success that will serve as the ultimate precedent. Let us walk down the roads of tomorrow with resolve and pride, trailblazing the paths for others to follow. Let us be selfless in our cause and work as one for the world. Let us bring forth a storm of ambition and transcend ourselves to every realm of what could be considered epic imaginable.

Whichever way we will go, whichever journey we will travel, whichever road we will walk, we can achieve. Reach for the stars. Raise the bar. Push the limits. Write the future. Whatever the hell you want to call it, move forward and fulfill your desires. We can do the impossible, so let’s go beyond the impossible and be remembered in history as a generation that never stopped, never compromised, and in turn never dies in the minds of humanity.

Take the longest path. Climb the highest mountain. The summit is calling.
